Sharing Our Science at the Meiosis GRC

The Diezmann Lab recently joined scientists from around the world at the 2026 Gordon Research Conference on Meiosis in New London, New Hampshire. The conference brought together researchers at the forefront of meiosis research for a week of presentations, discussion, and collaboration.

Aspen and Victoria presented posters highlighting their research—and received great interest and thoughtful discussion from fellow scientists.

Description

Poster sessions are a unique part of the GRC experience, offering researchers the chance to have in-depth conversations about their work, exchange ideas, and connect with colleagues from across the field. These informal discussions can lead to new questions, fresh perspectives, and unexpected collaborations.

For our lab, opportunities like this are an important part of being part of a scientific community. We believe curiosity thrives when people share ideas openly, challenge one another thoughtfully, and make space for different perspectives.

We’re proud to see Aspen and Victoria representing the Diezmann Lab and sharing their work with the broader meiosis community.

We’re grateful for the conversations, connections, and new ideas that came out of this year’s meeting—and we’re excited to bring that energy back to the lab

About the Diezmann Lab

The Diezmann Lab studies how molecules sense, communicate, and coordinate inside living cells, using single-molecule imaging and quantitative biophysics to uncover the hidden signals that shape reproduction, genetic diversity, and life itself.
